With a blend of disco, funk, synth and soul, Vaudeville Smash are unmatched entertainers who deliver a joyous musical experience like no other. “I’ll be damned if Vaudeville Smash aren’t the most mind-blowingly refreshing live act to emerge from Melbourne since God knows when.” - Beat Magazine
Since the release of their latest single "Miami", the Melbourne-based band have been recording in studios across the country with producers John Castle (The Bamboos, Kylie Auldist, Cub Sport) and Jordan Lennon (Hindley Street Country Club). Remaining true to their yacht rock roots and inspired by icons like Michael Jackson, James Brown, and Bruno Mars, Vaudeville Smash are on a mission to push musical and sonic boundaries as they continue to bridge generations of music lovers.
Joining the evening will be special guests and cosmic disco-revivalists Honey. Cutting their teeth as the party band of Melbourne's inner north, Honey released their debut EP First Lick in January 2023 and havw taken their genre-hopping, disco-flipping party to headline shows and festivals including Golden Plains and Strawberry Field.
Selling out The Night Cat year after year, this Spring Vaudeville Smash will reveal much-anticipated new music, along with silky smooth hits from their catalog and more.
Bring your dancing shoes, boys and girls... things are going to get spicy!
